The couple has been living in separate households since they had their first child. The custody battle worsened when she did not follow an Arizona court's ruling which barred her from providing financial aid to her kids, even though the fact that her husband's earnings are $10 million each season. In 2012, her husband relocated to the Los Angeles Lakers. She asked for custody as well as child support. He then strongly denied the request, stating that raising children at home in Los Angeles is not a best idea. He also went on of stating that he's looking to pamper his children by purchasing all the high-priced things. He also refused to give his ex-wife any money on her behalf as he also paid for all of his wife's medical expenses, educational expenses, events outside of school, and even a large sum to his Nanny. It was discovered that the couple had remarried and were not bitter.
