Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her debut professional show was The Snow Queen. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and was nominated to win a Barrymore Award. She reprised the role when making her Broadway debut at fifteen with Into the Woods, on Broadway. The show was recognized as a Drama League Award. Molly performed in Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. After that, she went to Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. She graduated in 2008 with an B.A. In this period she made her acting debut as Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly worked in TV including Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a major part in a variety of regional plays, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in 2008. She also appeared in Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne.
