Chando is currently living with her family in New York City. Chando was studying of Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando is best known for playing Maddie Coleman from As the World Rotates, a television soap opera that she appeared in between 2005 and 2007. The show also aired again starting at the end of 2009 for a number of months. Alexandra's acting debut was in House Blend, the TV series House Blend in which she played Jenna Harper. After three years she played on the American soap opera for television which aired in CBS, As the World Turns in the role of Maddie Coleman. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009, and was also a part of the Maddie Coleman character in As the World Turns. The actress starred in two episodes of the American drama-comedy TV show Glory Daze. Also, she was on Castle, Hindsight and Dead People.
