Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist to live broadcast at the New York Stock Exchange. She is the host of several popular programs under her belt. Broadcasting veteran with more than two decades of experience in reporting about business and economy she played an integral role in the establishment of television channel CNBC as being among the topmost in the business and economy segment. It is easy to see that her incredible career as a journalist was destined to be for women. As a teenager, Maria had a hard time deciding what profession she would pursue. Maria would one day want to become a musician, the next an interior designer. Once she discovered the excitement and thrills that journalism offers, there was nothing she could do but go. She is not just an excellent journalist but she is also an example for women who dream of making their mark in a dominant society. Hers was the first journalist from a female perspective to be named among the 50 Faces that Shaped the Decade. She's also a writer as well as a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film television and on stage since the latter part of 1970. From the age 27 she has performed as an active professional thespian. Her stage debut came in 1990 with an Off-Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. In The Perfect Tribute, she made her TV debut a year later. Her career started when she was commissioned as a character in the film Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she began her career as the female star in the film alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. The 1990s saw her professional career was a collaboration with Hollywood's top actors like Gwyneth in Sliding doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes, and Julie Andrews Relative Values.
